Corporate Event Styling: Nu Pure 10 Year Anniversary Party | Sunshine Coast

What can we say about this event? 5 beautiful giant Tipi's on the stunning Sunshine Coast, one car load of foliage and florals, 2 trucks of furniture and literally thousands of dried fruit and nuts went into this epic 200 person anniversary bash!

When Nu-Pure first approached us we were so inspired by their vision of a warm and inviting celebration to honour 10 years of amazing success. For our corporate clients we always work hard to capture a vision that is in line with their companies branding and culture, for previous commercial clients we have created custom furniture peices in the Stampin Up VIP room which you can view here.

Our brief from the client was to create a rustic centrepeice that had the feeling of a cheeseboard.  We acheived this by using textured stone vases, wooden cheese boards and dried figs, apricots and nuts. After hand making over 100 copper and concrete candle holders and table numbers, our vision was complete!

We used a modern and striking colour combination of black and copper, a custom branded Nu-Pure bar and giant NU letters at the entrance to the event. 200 beautiful wooden bentwoods from Hampton Event Hire and natural cloths from Covered Linen along with cosy fire pits and abundant foliage created a warm and inviting ambience in the tipis.

This event was so much fun to put together and the event looked like a blast to attend, Paul Dempsey featured as a special guest, and the Rush Band played into the night. Guests could boogie on the dance floor or take time to chill out in a smaller lounging Tipi. Have a corporate event coming up that you want to take to the next level? Corporate Event Styling: Stampin' Up | Gold Coast

At Little Gray Station we love parties and celebrations; whether it's a birthday, wedding, product launch or corporate event! So when we were approached by the lovely team at Stampin' Up to style the VIP room at their creative conference, we jumped at the chance!

This was such a fun job as the company has super cute branding, and we were able to work with their team to create a design concept that worked perfectly within their colour scheme. In turn this created a cosy yet fun space for their VIP's to relax and take a break from the busy conference. We worked with a pastel watermelon and mint colour theme, and carried this through the furniture and the florals.

For this job we collaborated with furniture hire company Hampton Event Hire to create custom branded planter boxes and then used a mixture of their modern grey sofas, beautiful watermelon and mint cushions and lovely bright florals.

If you have a corporate event coming up we would love to hear from you! You can read about how our process works, and get in touch to arrange a phone meeting with us to discuss how we can make your next event amazing!

Wedding Trends | 2016 Dramatic Floral Centrepieces

It’s no big surprise that wedding flowers are important! I personally love flowers  in every aspect of design, interiors, weddings and events and I don’t think you can ever have too many. As a little girl I dreamed of getting married in a flower farm in the Netherlands or if that didn’t pan out simply adorning my dress with flowers.

At Little Gray Station I have loved working with brides to be and planning how we can include their favourite flowers in their wedding. There are often things that brides are unsure about when they come to see us but flowers are something that everybody seems to be excited about! We have personally worked with so many brides that were excited to do beautiful floral installations like Ella + Andrew’s gorgeous foliage canopy and Ian + Brees bright floral details.

I am loving how the trend for dramatic florals is extending into all elements of wedding design including wedding dresses, wedding stationery and wedding cakes. Big, cascading and wild floral wedding centrepeices and bridal bouquets have been popular this year and I think the trend will continue to grow and be big in 2016.
