WEDDING THEME SECRET GARDEN INSPIRATION

As it's getting warmer the Little Gray Station team is getting excited for all of our beautiful summer garden weddings! Here is a little secret garden wedding inspiration to get you pumped for summer, bring on the hot days! Spending time in the outdoors, in the sun and everything botanical!

This colour palette is modern and fresh, an emphasis on abundant foliage over florals with crisp whites and notes of gold. Clean lines and a modern take on a botanical wedding invitation, this theme is informal yet packs a punch with it's refined colour palette and dramatic green hues.

Corporate Event Styling: Tips for styling an amazing Christmas Party!

We are fast approaching the silly season and here at Little Gray Station we couldn't be more excited! Organising your work Christmas party may seem like a daunting task, but having organised a few of these in our time we thought we would put together a few simple tips for those in the early planning stages.

1. Pick your date + venue: These two go hand in hand! Visit the likely venues in your area taking into consideration number of guests, location and budget.

2. Choose the style of your event: Sit down dinner? Cocktails and canapés? Or something totally unique! Either way this will have a big impact on the look and flow of the evening.

3. Theme: Once you have your venue locked in and the style of the evening you can get started on the fun part! If your venue has a defined style then make sure that whatever you select fits in well with this venue. However if you are holding your Christmas party in a conference hall, a marquee or a relatively neutral venue then you can be creative!

We personally love a subdued colour palette for Christmas, drawing on natural elements and referencing the beautiful Australian climate. Like these beautiful images below:
