We met Janice and Steve in December of 2013, straight away we knew we would be able to create something beautiful for Janice; she had such a beautiful vision of a subtle and very neutral wedding, not too over the top but well styled and thought out. It was really great getting to know them both and working with them on designing their wedding. Judi - Director of Little Gray Station added a few extra details to their wedding design to enhance the brief they had given us and they loved the suggestions and went ahead with those finer details.
After our first venue meeting with Janice and Steve our team designed and styled a romantic wedding with a contemporary rustic feel, filled with metallic tones, blush pinks and abundant florals with lots of personal touches to showcase the two's personality.
The two exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in front of around fifty family and friends on the lawns at the Osteria a rustic Italian restaurant tucked away in Casuarina in the beautiful Northern Rivers in New South Wales. On October 5th it was the perfect spring day, guests entered between two custom built doors to take a seat on bamboo tiffany chairs by Hampton Event Hire. The Bride and Groom stood before a beautiful bamboo arch with bellowing white drapes adorned with flowers.
After the ceremony guests lounged on elegant French linen armchairs sipping cosmopolitans and playing lawn games before moving into the reception area.
Lace and hessian table runners spread across long wooden banquet tables were topped with crystal candle holders and clusters of small arrangements with blush and latte tones, garden roses, seaholly, grey wheat, lush foliages with draping elements on the backs of the chairs.
Rebellyous Cake Co made the most divine naked cake, decorated with complimentary flowers and with a stunning metallic toned garland picking up latte gold and grey tones that flowed through the wedding. Thanks to Byron Loves Fawn for capturing the day so beautifully!
